Search begins for Britain’s top black business leaders



Nominations are open for this year’s Black British Small business Awards, an annual party that celebrates the achievements of some of the country’s top corporate bosses and entrepreneurs.

Now in its eighth year, the awards highlight “commercial excellence” between black professionals in 6 regions: arts and media buyer and luxury start-ups economical solutions expert solutions and STEM (science, tech, engineering and maths).

A “rising star” and “senior leader” award will be presented for every single category during a electronic ceremony in Oct.

Sophie Chandauka, co-founder of the awards, explained: “This is a neighborhood that has remained resilient and focused on contributing to the British isles overall economy in the confront of a pandemic, racial unrest and personalized agony. This is our time to reward and recognise these unsung heroes.”
