HONG KONG—Hundreds of hundreds of people today voted in primaries held by the city’s professional-democracy camp above the weekend, reflecting steely assist for the movement in spite of Beijing’s imposition of a countrywide-security legislation that has curbed community expressions of dissent in recent weeks.
